If you've ever seen that insurance ad with the pig yelling 'weeeeeee' out the window, you will understand how it feels to ride this bike. I can't stop smiling. I'm 6'2" and this bike makes me feel like a little kid. Thank you LBS, for recommending this. It has greatly enhanced my daily life. karyn

      Comments:

I purchased this bike from my LBS, this trek is my second 29er and it is a great bike. I am 6 feet tall and I went with a 17.5 inch frame for technical trails. The thing I like best about this bike is how solid and easy it is to handle. I did have a marin alpine ridge 29er and that thing felt like a brute plus it felt kind of flimsy for my standards. It is also a great price for a 29er, I am not too concerned about components but they all seen to work very well, you can read the specs if you want to know more. The bike felt right for me and comfortable, I think its funny when people say it has an uncomfortable seat, its a mountain bike and you are going off road, no comfort allowed people. The sales people at the store are very curtious to customers, they let you ride several bikes and make great suggestions, plus they have the best selection and quality bikes in my area. I will buy from these people again and I would recomend them to anyone, and I have high standards when it comes to quality so if I say bike line is good, you can take that to the bank.

      Comments:

Picked up this bike from my LBS here in town. The guys there are very knowledgeable and have a great selection of bikes to choose from. I chose the 2013 Wahoo, and could not be happier. It's an outstanding bike. Trek has made a few upgrades from 2012 (thicker handle bar, different peddles, wheels are double walled now, etc…) but the other components remained the same. Within an hour of owning the bike I put down 8 miles on some sweet single-track here in town. This bike rides like a dream. Shifts clean and fast, the 29 inch wheels carry over anything, and everything about this bike just begs to be ridden fast. Plus, it's built to last… what more could you ask for in a 29er hardtail?
